Watch as we replace out front shocks inside our struts on our 2015 expedition 2wd. Replace them this way at your own risk and I’m not liable for any injury or damage by using the vehicle weight to decompress the coil springs in this way. It did work just fine for me but I’d still recommend using a proper spring compressing tool!
You will also need an alignment after any suspension parts are changed.
