we accidentally slept on a cow farm

Описание: 🚠 We took a gondola from Isenfluh up to Sulwald. The drive to Isenfluh is super narrow and windy, and the only parking for the gondola is on the side of the road.

🚙 Using the "PayByPhone Parking" app while in Switzerland made parking a breeze.

🏕️ We hiked up 2,400 feet in 2.5 miles from Sulwald to find our camping spot. The trail ends at Sulsseewli Lake but we payed for a local's travel guide to find this hidden gem.

🐄 The next morning gave us one of the most chaotic moments of our lives. The person we bought the travel guide from did tell us to "beware of cows" to be fair, but we had no idea how curious and unafraid they would be of us.

🐮 We woke up to the sound of cowbells which lulled us back to sleep like white noise… only to realize a full herd of cows had surrounded our tent. Imagine trying to frantically pack up all your camping gear inside a tiny tent while cowbells clang loudly in your ears and 4 horned shadows are surrounding you, licking, chewing on, and pulling at the sides of your tent. At the time it felt like a nightmare — I couldn't even pull out my phone to record because I thought we were in actual danger of being trampled, but now it’s easily one of our funniest memories from the trip.

☀️ On the hike back down to Sulwald, we found the perfect alpine river to cool off in, with some of the most beautiful mountain views we’ve ever seen. This was one of those surreal moments that we know we will reminisce about for the rest of our lives.
