🏔️ reservations to get to Refugio Auronzo are released one month in advance, you have to book a 12 hour spot or else you can't drive up this mountain pass. Enter your license plate number on the website as soon as you pick up your rental car. We didn't need to show proof of purchase, they just read our license plate

🥾 we hiked part of the Tre Cime Lavaredo and Cadini de
Misurini. It took us 30 minutes to get to the Misurini viewpoint and peak golden hour was around 7:30pm in early August. There will be a line to take pictures but just enjoy the view while waiting

🚽 you need cash to use restrooms here, 1 euro at the parking lot and 1 in Refugio Auronzo that closes at 6pm

SWITZERLAND

🚲 we rented e-bikes from Imboden Bike Rental in Lauterbrunnen. We rode through Lauterbrunnen, took a gondola up to Grindelwald, rode through Mürren and back down to Lauterbrunnen. This took us 3.5 hours with stops for shops + pictures

🏖️ We swam in Brienzersee and Thunersee

🍕so many good foods around Interlaken and Lauterbrunnen. X-Port Pizzeria was our favorite pizza from the whole trip, especially the Mama Mia. Roger's Bakery also had the best cinnamon rolls in the world

🛏️ Mattenhof Resort in Interlaken was right out of a storybook with the cutest animals at the front desk. Hotel Schutzen in Lauterbrunnen had the most magical view of the valley and we could've spent all day reading on our balcony
