The system that sets the standard for almost all in-house PCB prototyping applications: The ProtoMat S64 provides a high-speed 60,000 rpm variable speed spindle motor with low runout and low-maintenance ensuring the production of fine structures as small as 100 μm (4 mil). The S64 also allows the production of multilayer boards when used in conjunction with a lamination press. Additional standard features include a solid granite base, auto-switch tool depth sensor, vacuum table with high precision ceramic, automated fiducial alignment camera, solder paste dispensing 2.5D pocket milling capabilities, making the ProtoMat S64 the perfect addition to any development environment.

ProtoMat S104
The LPKF ProtoMat S104 advanced PCB milling option also includes the solid granite-based construction, automated fiducial alignment camera, ceramic base vacuum table, solder paste dispensing and 2.5D pocket milling capabilities but adds to the rapid PCB prototyping capabilities with a 100,000 rpm variable speed spindle motor and high precision copper thickness sensor probe. With the included auto-switch sensor and software feedback for copper thickness, the cut depth can be precisely controlled and is ideal for RF/Microwave applications. The faster spindle motor is ideal for more sensitive materials creating traces and spacing as small as 100 μm (4 mil) on FR4 and PTFE or ceramic filled PTFE materials.
