🇹🇿Tanzanian Street food - Street Food in Zanzibar

Описание: Zanzibaris are amazing and soo soo friendly. Its a chill, calm island and the culture and location influences the food. I will for sure be back in Tanzania both Dar and Zanzibar again. I ate at forodhani its like a park and is the place to go for street food just go in the evening at around 5ish idk.

The best street food out of all of these was probably the kuku mshikaki/chicken mshikaki but everything was soo good, I recommend that you try it all. The kamba kochi/prawn mshikaki was amazing.

Street food in Zanzibar is more tailored to be local but also be touristic such that its enjoyable. The experiences were really really authentic. All foods were bought at Forodhani and it was amazing. I had chipsi zege, kuku mshikaki, tuna mshikaki, kamba kochi mshikaki, jusi ya muwa, jusi ya embe/maembe, mkate wa nyama / zanzibar pizza / swahili pizza. This was the best swahili pizza I had better than Lamu even even though its my home country.
