Dar es Salaam was fuunnn ppl were so soo friendly. Street food in Dar es Salaam is a mix. Its like a mix between Nairobi and Mombasa street food. Nairobi definitely has all kinds of street foods that you could imagine but the one thing missing was Urojo soup. most street food that isn't necessarily Nairobian can still be found here. Other foods that are also East African that I didn't film were pani puri, samosa, avocado shake (had this in Lamu was amazing, chipsi zege is in the upcoming Zanzibar vlog)

The best street food out of all of these was Urojo soup for me, its so unique we really dont have this in Nairobi. Chapati is my favourite food though. For those from Ethiopia or Eritrea chapati is like our injera but we use wheat instead of teff. The best place I ate at was definitely the shack along Lumumba street on the side with M Mmoja (Mnazi Mmoja Park) the couple there was amazing and friendly and sooo sooo welcoming. I mean like I honestly feel like Tanzania is now easily my 2nd home besides my home country. I mean ppl were friendly but even the police and immigration ppl were soo friendly I was going like whaaat!!.
Street food in Dar is amazing its slightly different from street food in Kenya but ultimately has many of the same offerings Nyama Choma, Kuku Choma, Chapati etc. Whats different is Urojo soup especially and fenesi. Jalebi probs also exists in Kenya but isnt as popular like it is in Tanzania or Ethiopia. Tanzanian street food in general is a must try. In Dar one can be full for less than KES. 100 (TZS. 2100) (ETB. 40) US$ 1. Vlogs of street food in Zanzibar will be out soon. One more thing to note is that most of what I say are Kenyan/Tanzanian street foods will also be found across East and Central Africa esp the EAC as theres lots of cultural similarities.
