Ep. 02 | Ninetales — Shadowless Base
In this episode, I work on a shadowless Ninetales Pokémon card.
I begin with a full condition assessment under normal and UV light, carefully open the slab, and carry out surface-only restoration — no recolouring, no reshaping, and nothing hidden.
This episode isn’t about chasing grades.
It’s about judgement: when careful restoration may help, when restraint matters more, and when a card should be left exactly as it is.
After restoration, I decide whether this Ninetales should be regraded or remain raw, with the result to be revealed in a future episode.
