In this episode, I work on a graded Hitmonchan Pokémon card.
I begin with a full condition assessment under normal and UV light, carefully open the slab, and carry out surface-only restoration — no recolouring, no reshaping, and nothing hidden.
This video isn’t about chasing grades.
It’s about understanding what’s really holding a card back, when careful restoration may help, and when restraint matters more than intervention.
After restoration, I decide whether this Hitmonchan should be regraded or remain raw, with the result to be revealed in a future episode.
