For this, you need to combine the moonwalking glitch with the Starry Nocturne's Whimsicality.

As I showed at the start of the video, this was NOT easy at all. Must've taken over 20 attempts.

Nevermind accidentally dropping Nonoy, every now and then, she'd disappear for seemingly no reason. I found that she's less likely to disappear when you're higher up. But could be a coincidence.

Eventually, I remembered a trick I discovered way back. If you bump into a Sky Monarch, you'll automatically float up. This allowed me to easily get past the cliff at the back of Stoneville.

But if you go too high, a new problem arises. Falling more than 300 m leads to the Unstuck screen. So I had to stop halfway through Itzaland Canyon to stop the automatic floating.

In theory, you could do this with most NPCs, but your mileage may vary. Some NPCs are a lot more sensitive than others. You can also carry other Nikkis.
