We leave the beautiful Town of Engelberg en-route to Engstlenalp and Meiringen via The Joch Pass, this will be sections seven & eight on our quest to walk across the whole length of Switzerland on The Via Alpina 1 (Swiss Alpine Pass Route). The weather started ok but a little cloudy, but soon changed to low visibility with Thunder, rain, sleet, hale and even snow, we had everything thrown at us for the last two days so be sure to watch to see how we got on. Our hike up to the Joch Pass wasn't how we envisioned the night going as we had to hunker down and ride out the bad weather.
