European - Indo-Pacific Partnership in Space Security: Economic and Financial Dimensions

Описание: 🛰️ This panel discussion concerns the space partnership dynamics in the Indo-Pacific region. It focused on challenges for Europe stemming from the economic & financial statecraft of Russia and China in the region.

🇪🇺 The speakers also looked at where is Europe’s competitive advantage and offered some recommendations concerning how Europe and its regional partners (notably India, Japan, and the U.S.) might collaborate more effectively among themselves to build a transparent and sustainable regional and global space economy.

Our three distinguished speakers included:
➡️ Yuka Koshino, Research Fellow at the International Institute for Strategic Studies (IISS)
➡️ Rajeswari Rajagopalan, Director of the Center for Security, Strategy and Technology (CSST) at the Observer Research Foundation
➡️ Jolanda Van Eijndthoven, Head of Unit, International Affairs and Communication, Directorate General for Defence Industry and Space at European Commission

The panel discussion was moderated by Dr Jana Sehnálková, lecturer at the Department of North American Studies at Charles University.
