Squamish! BC Railfanning Part 3: CN 546 Switching Squamish Yard & Squamish Terminals (AUG/27/2021)

Описание: CN L54651 switches around CN's Squamish Yard, and The Squamish Terminals. The power for 546 that day was CN 2848, and CN 3234. L546 is switching on the EX-BCOL (BC Rail) Squamish Subdivision that runs from North Vancouver (McLean Yard) through Squamish, Whistler, and Pemberton towards Lillooet. After Lillooet the Lillooet Sub begins, and heads towards William's Lake, then the Prince George Sub continues to Prince George. The main sceduled freight train on this line is CN 546 from North Vancouver, to Squamish. CN 546 switches the CN Yard and picks up and drops off cars to local customers in Squamish, there is also a small spur running towards the busy Squamish Terminal's located at the end of the Squamish River. The Terminal's are also quite busy with ship traffic headed inbetween Vancouver and Squamish. CN 571/570 used to run between Squamish and William's Lake, however it only runs as needed now. Rocky Mountaineer (RMR) Train's 613/614 run between Vancouver and Jasper on the Squamish Sub, and stops at Whistler, and Quesnel. Once The Northbound Rocky Mountaineer gets to Prince George it heads on a different Subdivision (Unknown) towards Jasper AB. The Squamish Sub was purchased by CN in 2004 after purchasing BC Rail.
