“The Moon and Zukhra” blends indigenous timbres with symphonic and cinematic orchestral thinking, shaping a music-led narrative of innocence, hardship and transcendence.

Zukhra, a kind and diligent young girl, lives under the cruelty of her stepmother. One night, while drawing water by the river, she encounters the celestial beauty of the moon and stars. A falling star transforms into the Moon Prince, who has silently watched over her, guiding her toward release from suffering and ascent into peace, love and light.

Rather than literal illustration, the music focuses on atmosphere, emotion and symbolic storytelling — allowing folk tradition and symphonic form to merge into an immersive narrative experience.
