A ride onboard a SMRT Alstom Metropolis C830 train from Paya Lebar to Mountbatten on the Circle Line (CCL), during the tunnel repair and strengthening work period from 17 Jan 2026 till 19 April 2026. The inner track tunnels have been strengthened and repaired, and the steel plates can be seen when the tunnel lights are turned on.

CCL tunnels between Paya Lebar and Mountbatten stations were closed for tunnel repair and strengthening works as the Land Transport Authority (LTA) discovered signs of tunnel "squatting" as soil conditions around the tunnels have changed. As a result, CCL services were divided into 4 segments:
1) Paya Lebar ↔ Harbourfront
2) Paya Lebar ↔ Mountbatten (Shuttle)
3) Mountbatten ↔ Dhoby Ghaut
4) Stadium ↔ Marina Bay (Shuttle; as per normal)
