PROJECT STEPS
1. In your role as Donor Liaison in the Administration Department at Maritime Community College in Portland, Maine, you have developed a presentation about the college's donor awards program. You need to edit this presentation before delivering it to a meeting of potential donors.
Begin by comparing and then merging the current presentation with the presentation Support_PPT19_EOM5-2_Donor.pptx. Accept the first tracked change in the presentation—the change of theme. Accept the next tracked change—the deletion of $2,000,000 and the insertion of $3,000,000. Reject the next and final tracked change so that the month in the orange oval remains April. End the review. (Hint - Do not accept the the change to the Notes on slide 1.)
2. On the title slide, recolor the picture using Orange, Accent color 1 Light. Apply the Plastic Wrap artistic effect. Further enhance the picture by applying a Black, Text 1 picture border with a width of 3 points. Enhance the text "Donor Awards Program" with the Glow: 8 point; Orange, Accent color 1 text effect.
3. On Slide 2 ("Thank You!"), use Format Painter to apply the formatting of "ten" to "twenty" in the third sub-bullet under the third bullet.
4. With Slide 2 still displayed, modify the animation applied to the picture by adding the Bounce animation. Remove the Grow/Shrink animation. Add the Applause sound to the Bounce animation.
5. On Slide 3 ("Ways to Give"), change the bullet for "Scholarships" to a picture using Support_PPT19_EOM5-2_PiggyBank.jpg. Increase the size of the picture bullet to 300% of text. Change the line spacing for all the bulleted text to 1.5.
6. With Slide 3 ("Ways to Give") still displaying, select the two text boxes ("Bursaries!" and "Scholarships!") and move them down slightly so they no longer overlap the text, using guides as needed. Animate the Bursaries text box using the Circle motion path. Use the Animation Painter to apply the same animation option to the Scholarships text box. In the Animation pane, change the order of the animations so that the Scholarships text box is animated before the Bursaries text box.
7. On Slide 5 ("Student and Donor Recognition"), change the left margin of the text in the oval shape (contains the text "Held Annually in April") to 0.4". Change the right margin to 0.4". Change the line spacing of the text in the oval to 1.0. Use the Format Painter with objects to apply the formatting of the oval to the rectangle. Draw a connector using the Connector: Curved Arrow connector style between the lower right corner of the rectangle and the far left edge of the oval.
In Slide Sorter view, your presentation should look like the Final Figure on the following page. Save your changes, close the presentation, and exit PowerPoint. Follow the directions on the SAM website to submit your completed project.
