Eric Clapton song Old Love played on just an acoustic guitar. Clapton wrote it about a long-term romantic relationship that had faded but lingered in memory. It reflects regret, nostalgia, and unresolved feelings for someone from the past.
He released it several times on the following albums:
1989 - Journeyman
1991 - 24 Nights (live album)
1992 - Unplugged (from "MTV Unplugged" TV show)
While it didn't chart as a hit on the main charts, it did reach # 24 on the Billboard Mainstream Rock Tracks chart in 1991.
