All too often, I think people use imprecise language when talking about units in Wh40k. In this video, I talk about my philosophy on how to analyze units and army lists based on "quadrant theory". It's an idea that units fit into one of four roles, scoring primary points, secondary points, supporting other units, or trading with opponents units.
Additionally we talk about how to design a list using this philosophy and how we can use mathematical thinking to iterate on our army lists based on our primary/secondary scores.
