Shannon Welsh and Angela Wartes-Kahl co-founded Fibrevolution to bring Flax farming back to Oregon, USA.
Angela runs a farm and heads up an organic consulting and inspection service. Shannon is a textile designer and educator and managing Director of Fibreshed Pacific North West.
For our “Think Global Grow Local Roundtable #1" we hear how eco-farming and community are at the root of this project.
In this encounter, we asked flax farmer, yarn spinner, and MSc fashion and textiles student at Heriot-Watt University, Rosie Bristow, to pose a question from the floor.
