Eggplant Germination Results: Vermiculite-only vs Soil on a Heat Mat

Описание: In this episode we look at the results of the vermiculite-only eggplant germination experiment introduced in the previous heat mat episode. Using a heat mat set to around 82°F, I tested whether eggplant seeds could successfully germinate using vermiculite alone instead of traditional seed-starting soil. The results show that while vermiculite can support germination, it was slower and produced a lower germination rate compared to soil under the same conditions. In this video, I walk through the setup used for the experiment, demonstrate how the seedlings are removed from vermiculite, and show how they are transplanted into soil for early growth.
