Union Home Minister Amit Shah visited Odisha for a day-long tour and attended the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) Raising Day Parade held at the CISF campus in Mundali, Cuttack. This is the first time that the Raising Day Parade has been organized in Odisha.
During the event, Amit Shah reviewed the parade after inspecting the platoons. CISF personnel showcased various operational skills and tactical demonstrations. Special displays included response techniques for critical situations such as aircraft hijacking, terrorist attacks, and other high-risk security challenges. The demonstrations highlighted the responsibilities and preparedness of CISF in handling emergency scenarios.
