Turtle Release

Описание: We’ve had this turtle for a year and a half… and today we’re finally letting it go. 🐢💚

When we first took it in, it was living in a small aquarium and was so tiny. We knew right away it wasn’t big enough to survive in our big pond. That big birds would be a problem .

So we upgraded it to a protected outdoor mini pond where we could control the environment and keep predators away while it grew. Over the past year and a half, we’ve watched it gain size and strength — and at the same time, we worked on improving the ecosystem in our large pond to make sure it was balanced and ready.

Today is the day it finally joins the big pond.

Homesteading isn’t just about collecting animals — it’s about stewardship, patience, and making sure the environment is right before making a move.
