Colossians 3:15 NIV
15 Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful.
This week's Bible verse of the week revolves around having peace. Not just world peace, but seeking to find inner, spiritual peace. This verse states to have peace of mind in Jesus Christ our Savior because remember that He has overcome the world itself. The last part of the verse also says to be thankful. How often do we express gratitude in our daily lives? God has done so much for us in our lives that we don't even know about or realize, so I like this last part too because I get to sit down and really reflect on the things that I'm grateful for in my life. So let Christ's peace rule above all in our hearts, and that will be the biggest comfort you can lean on. Rejoice and be glad. Amen.
