Happy Easter once again everyone! I already have this verse on my channel as well, but I wanted to use it again to emphasize the importance on the WHY we celebrate Easter. This verse shows us of Jesus's resurrection. Where he suffered death and was buried, but he rose again on this third day, all according to the scriptures. These words of "He is not here, for he has risen, just as he had said," hold so much meaning to the world. The angel had welcomed the followers into the tomb of Jesus and told them to not be afraid because Jesus had RISEN and he is ALIVE! All of Jesus's life was in God's plan and He trusted in His father, to the point where He would willingly sacrifice himself in order to teach us all a lesson. He suffered and gave up his innocent life on the cross, but all of this in exchange for His resurrection, our forgiveness of all of our sins, and granting us everlasting, immortal life. Now that's the ultimate form of sacrifice and also the ultimate form of His love for us. Amen.
