Getting the ferry MV. Clansman from Oban Ferry Terminal to Castlebay on the Isle of Barra. Then the short drive on the A888 to Scurrival Campsite at the very north of the island.
Scurrival Campsite has a very remote feel with all the amenities and some excellent walks. Well worth a visit.
Barra Airport is agreat spot to watch the flights landing on the sand. It's the only beach airport in Europe that caters for scheduled passenger flights. Check LoganAir flight timetables as the airport is only open when the tide is out, its well worth the wait and watch!
