Citrinne Bolts Through Nil's 50 RES in 1-Turn Fell Xenologue 5 (FE Engage Maddening)

This video demonstrates a new strat to clear Fell Xenologue 5 in 1 turn. The previous 1-turn clears use either Ivy or Chloe to bolt Nil, taking advantage of Ivy's class skill or Chloe's personal skill to do real damage to Nil. This damage is boosted by skills like resonance+ and gentility+, and it is further combined with Goldmary's double chain attack damage thanks to the Hero class skill. Such a brilliant setup gets around Nil's insane RES, and is shown to be able to kill him with chain attacks landing and some skills proccing. Our clear takes a more "brute-force" approach by stacking very high attack to overcome Nil's base 50RES (in fact 56 due to warding stance). Citrinne is the best bolting user for this strat, because she has the highest magic and mystic type reduces enemy resistance by an extra 10% with Soren's Flare. We also gave her the craziest attack-boosting skill in the game, Reprisal+, adding 15ATK to her first bolting hit after she gets herself severely injured. Unfortunately Flare's healing effect provides anti-synergy to Reprisal+ in this case. But with rally spectrum, Lindon's goddess dance, Ivy's spur attack, Veyle personal and Veronica contract bonus, as well as Ivy and Veyle enabling the sage class skill, Citrinne can still deal 17dmg to Nil even on her third hit. This is only slightly less than Ivy + double chain attack.

In fact, by giving Nel Edelgard and letting her do sufficient damage to Nil with Aymr (and flame gambit), this clear shows that chain attacks and skill procs can be completely dispensed with. Completing such a challenge does also require Panette to one-shot Nil with Astra Storm, but again Reprisal+ makes it easy. In the video we have lvl2 mt and hit augments on Bolting and Aymr, but no augment on Mulagir is needed. Hit rates on Nil can be improved with further augments, and Veyle's Veronica summon can also help burn RN in case we miss.

With this clear, we have shown how to complete FX2 - FX5 in 1 turn each. FX1 is straightforward to 1-turn, while various FX6 1-turn strats are known. So we think we don't have more to add to FX LTC, and this is hopefully the end of our Fell Xenologue journey/misery. We will shortly return with the rest of our maddening LTC run.
