Zayn SHADES Harry Styles, Says They "Never Really Spoke" While In 1D

If you listen closely, you may be able to hear the sound of millions of hearts unanimously shattering around the world due to Zayn’s latest bombshell he just dropped about his friendships in One Direction – specifically his friendship with Harry Styles.

Naturally, fans have been speculating the standing of his friendships with the rest of the guys since the day Zayn left the group in 2015, and after Louis Tomlinson recently admitted to reconnecting with Zayn as a promise he made to his late mother, we thought all was well in the post-1D world, and it was, apparently except for Zayn’s relationship with Harry. He sat down with Us Weekly to deliver some not-so-great news when chatting about everything in his life, including Gigi Hadid, his fashion, and where he stands with 1D, to which he revealed QUOTE, “To be honest, I never really spoke to Harry even when I was in the band. So I didn’t really expect that much of a relationship with him.”

Absolutely shooketh, dead, deceased, shocked to my very core, insert whatever shocking adjective here because there ARE NO WORDS. Like, you’re telling me that after traveling the world, sharing bunks, sharing a stage, being together every day of every year these two had NO relationship?

Clearly I’m not the only one in shock as fans have taken to Twitter in complete denial, when one user dug up some cold hard evidence of the two’s past friendship, saying, “If y'all believe that Harry and Zayn didn't even talk in the band i would like you to explain this to me then” complete with photos of what looks like a beautiful bromance between the two. And another user attached a hilarious gif to the caption, “Since zayn supposedly ain't know harry I guess this was Harry talking to himself all those times.”

But as a means to calm even myself down, I will say that as far as his relationships with the other guys go, Zayn said, “We’re in touch. Everything is on a civil level. It’s not the way it used to be, obviously, because we were spending 24 hours a day in the band and now we’re growing as individual men, but we still check in.”

Now that’s the answer we were hoping for all along, so at this point we’ll take what we can get. But as for a reunion, Zayn is on the same page with the rest of the guys as he still isn’t ruling anything out. He simply said QUOTE, “Who knows?
