IT'S NOT THAT BIG OF A DEAL!

And an actual comment I got last week.
"It's not that serious."

We have been conditioned to believe "family planning" should be up to us. That it's a decision to make lightly like what outfit I'm wearing today. That it's not a big deal. That it's about what we can handle and limited to our own ability.

That we're not allowed to talk about it. That everyone can do whatever they want and it's fine.

I'm here to say it absolutely is that serious. Your mere existence is based on it! Your mom chose you. Yes God created you but without a vessel to be born into, you wouldn't exist. And our future children depend on our yes.

Do we not see this?
It's a life or death decision. That's why I talk about it a lot.
Lives depend on it.

If God gives life, why would we reject it? Why would we refuse to be used for his purposes? It's very serious.

The Bible says Psalm 139:13 "For you formed my inward parts; you knitted me together in my mother's womb."

When you prevent, you're not just picking out your clothes for the day, you're denying a life from forming and living for the Lord. It's directly working against God.

Now I know that sounds harsh and legalistic. I know many are offended by these conversations. I know many have arcady made permanent decisions.

And there's grace for the times we were simply ignorant to Gods ways and thoughts. I was definitely there. But we must commit ourselves to learn and grow in His ways. To align our lives and decisions to His.

Especially on things as serious as life itself.
This isn't a little thing, It's a big deal. As believers, we either trust him or we don't.

We either believe He gives life and good gifts or we don't. We either partner with him or reject Him.

I know it's counter cultural. I know it's hard in this time and in this generation but that doesn't mean God changed his ways. And I promise you'll find so much joy in accepting His blessings and bringing forth life.

It's a glorious life to live in His ablity and power and to give up your own ability and will. You will look foolish to the world but honored by the Lord.
