Bootstrapping Cyberinfrastructure in the CSU

The multi-institution panel will discuss a collaborative effort within the CSU system, the largest public university system in the United States, to leverage existing state and federal investments in cyberinfrastructure to provide shared services to the research community across our campuses.

Panelists will share insight on the multiple strategies undertaken to understand the research infrastructure needs of faculty on our campuses, the collaborative development of specific and funded NSF proposals to support these efforts, an elaboration of the services and infrastructure open to CENIC members now available, and a set of emerging best practices for other campuses as they begin their researcher engagement journey.
