6 eggs = 300g flour, sugar (150g), 300g butter, 1 teaspoon of baking powder, bicarbonate of soda, salt, mixed spice, cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, 1/2 teaspoon of clove and about 500/750g of fruit (dried) any fruit you like, but you can also use fresh fruit or tinned fruit, if using tinned fruit do not throw away the juice as this will help keep the cake moist. 
Soften the butter in the microwave for about 40 seconds, then add the sugar and cream together until smooth then add the egg in about 1 at a time and add one spoon of the flour mixture leaving about 4/5 spoonfuls of the flour mix until last add the fruit and the remaining flour if you have any fruit left in the bowl you can add it in the middle of the cake tin after you have put half the mixture into the cake tin, then bake for 1 hour until a toothpick comes out clean, you can also do this as cupcakes just use a ice cream scoop into cake cases etc and bake for about 15/20 minutes
