Day 49: Making a template for the transom
Similar to making the template for the floorboards, I am using cardboard to make the transom template. I also heard that you can use hot glue and popsicle sticks but I already had the cardboard so I thought this would be easier and cheaper.
It was sort of fun making the template but I also needed a ton of duct tape in order to make sure that it all held together, especially in Hawaii humidity.
I am hoping that the template is actually correct because the cardboard flexes and bends a lot which can make it difficult to get a precise shape
