OUTSET IDYLL // Symphonic Orchestral Arrangement / Wind Waker 20th Anniversary

Описание: This is an arrangement for full Orchestra based on the Outset Island and the End Credits music from The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker. 2023 is the 20th Anniversary of Wind Waker, so I wanted to write this arrangement to celebrate such a special addition to the Zelda franchise this year. Outset Island is an extremely popular tune from the Wind Waker soundtrack, so to make a full-scale orchestral arrangement which had its influences from the original Symphony of the Goddesses Concert, which I attended no less than seven times when it was in the UK.

Video game music is becoming more and more popular. The rise of Videogame music concerts is in increasing demand. Electronic videogame soundtracks made as a remix or orchestral arrangement are fast growing and now amassing huge followings on YouTube. Iconic soundtracks like Super Mario, Final Fantasy and The Legend of Zelda are some of the most loved and listened to, especially when a musician takes a theme or track and arranges it for other instruments, turns it into an electronic remix or orchestrates it for a full orchestra, all with their own ideas in mind, giving the music a new lease of life, uplifting, relaxing, invigorating and entertaining the listeners, something you would hear on Classic FM. A soundtrack from a Videogame could be turned into a symphonic journey, a waltz, a medley or whatever the artist can create.
