WLToys 104001 | New Wheels, Tires & 17mm Hexes (Set new speed record!!)

Описание: In this video we're addressing the absolutely thrashed stock tires. I ended up selecting some 1/8th scale buggy wheels and tires by Duratrax, Duratrax Speedtreads RoadRunners to be specific. In order to make these wheels fit we had to install 12mm to 17mm hex adapters so there's a section on how to install these, and a few things to consider.

The buggy is still using the Spektrum 85a ESC and Redcat 3800kv motor and the 26t pinion upgrade. The only difference between the 42mph run after the pinion upgrade and this video is the wheels and tires. Stick around to the end to see the speed run! I was absolutely shocked at the result.

On a side note, there seems to be some sort of throttling issue that keeps causing the ESC to fall into limp mode. I assume it's the discharge rate of the battery. If you have any thoughts, I'd appreciate any insight.
