'Miracle Mallory' finds joy in brain injury recovery

Описание: After complications from a routine dental procedure left her with an anoxic brain injury, Mallory Mitchell worked hard to rehabilitate at Madonna's Omaha Campus. A bright and popular college student, Mallory was planning a wedding, graduation and had a very bright future. Her injury left her unable to walk, communicate, or even stay awake for long periods of time. Bolstered by her parents and her fiance, Kyle, Mallory worked hard and regained skills one by one. Forming a close bond with her therapy team and other Madonna patients, Mallory received Madonna's Spirit Award on her last day of inpatient therapy. Continuing to work hard in an outpatient setting in her home state of Kansas, Mallory continues to find joy in everyday life.
