The last day of my 11-day cruise on NCL Star found us in the port of Ísafjörður in the northwest corner of Iceland (the Westfjords). As in Akureyri the previous day, I signed up for an all day excursion to see the treasures of the region and... it did not disappoint. Again though, I did not get a chance to explore the town and would like to do so in a future visit. Ísafjörður is stunningly beautiful.
