We live our lives as if we are under a constant state of siege.
From the moment we wake, we begin the exhausting work of building a wall around ourselves.
We use our jobs, our bank accounts, and our reputations as bricks, hoping that if we build the wall high enough, we can keep out the inevitable.
We are terrified of losing the "me" we have worked so hard to create.
We treat our existence like a flickering flame in a cold wind, clutching our hands around it, frantic that the light might go out.
But if you stop and look at the shadows, you will find a truth that changes everything: the dark is not your enemy.
We fear the silence, the endings, and the "nothingness" that waits at the edge of our lives.
Yet, without the silence, a song would just be a scream.
Without the dark, we could never see the stars.
To fear the void is to fear the very space that allows life to move.
Think of the way you go to bed each night.
You do not fight the sleep.
You do not panic as your name, your problems, and your history fade into the blackness.
You surrender.
You let go of being "someone" and you become "no one" for eight hours. We call this rest.
We look forward to it.
If you can trust the nothingness of the night to hold you every evening, why do you fight the transitions of the day?
We imagine we are like a single cup of water, separate and alone, terrified of being spilled.
But you are not the cup; you are the water and the cup.
Think of it like this, when a wave hits the sand, it does not die.
It simply shifts its shape.
It recedes so it can rise again.
You are not a stranger who arrived here from somewhere else; you are a movement of the entire universe.
You are something the cosmos is "doing" right now.
Panic only happens when we try to grab the water.
The tighter you squeeze your life, the faster it leaks through your fingers.
This is the secret: you do not need to hold on to the moment because you are the moment.
There is no "you" that the future can hurt, because the future is just a thought.
There is only the "now," and the "now" is always safe.
Remember the billions of years before you were born.
You were part of that "nothing" for an eternity, and it never hurt you.
You were not lonely or afraid.
You are simply returning to a place you have already been.
You are the dancer and the dance.
Once you see this, the fear of the end vanishes.
Trust the flow.
You are the ocean, and every ending is just the start of a new tide.
I have designed this ritual to shift your mindset from a "static object" to a "living process" before the world demands you play a role.
It is a way to embody the verb identity and move with the flow of the day.
The Morning Ritual of the Verb
1. The Breath of Becoming (2 Minutes).

Before you check your phone or name the day’s worries, lie still.
⬇️
Do not think, "I am breathing." Instead, feel the "breathing" happening to you.
⬇️
The Shift: You are not a person moving air; you are the place where the universe is expressing breath.
⬇️
The Mantra: Inwardly say, "I am not the breather; I am the breathing."
2. The Sensory Flow
(2 Minutes).
As you get out of bed, focus on the transition of weight.

Feel your feet meeting the floor.
⬇️
The Shift: Stop labeling things as "my floor" or "my cold room."
⬇️
Experience the raw sensations of "touching," "hearing," and "seeing."
⬇️
The Practice: Describe your actions as verbs. "Walking is happening." "Water is cold."
⬇️
This removes the "ego" that feels the need to control the environment.
3. The Fortress Release
(1 Minute).
Stand in front of a mirror.

Look at your reflection and recognise that the face you see is a changing wave, not a frozen statue.
⬇️
The Shift: Acknowledge that the roles you will play today (boss, parent, friend) are just costumes.
⬇️
They are not who you are; they are things you are "doing."
⬇️
The Decree: "Today, I am not a target of circumstances. I am the flow of circumstances themselves."
4. The Opening Move.
Identify your Priority Zero for the day.

Instead of framing it as a heavy burden you "must achieve," frame it as an energy you are "releasing."
⬇️
The Practice: Do the first step immediately.
⬇️
Do not plan it, do not negotiate; just let the action happen.
The Daily Intent.
By starting your day this way, you become impossible to break.
You cannot be "shattered" if you are a stream.
You cannot be "stolen" if you are a dance.
You are simply the ocean in motion, meeting the shore of the day.
