Описание: The Indian Oil Corporation’s 2G ethanol plant at Panipat, Haryana, which will be commissioned next month, will process 2.1 lakh metric tonne of dry rice straw annually and convert it to 3 crore litre of ethanol, a biofuel. Farmers in Haryana and Punjab have been burning rice straw left after harvesting, causing severe pollution.
