I, like most people in the states, found out about Everything But The Girl (EBTG) from their early 1990s hit "Missing". This was a monster hit. However, when I bought the CD "Amplified Heart" not too long after, I was totally disappointed and even angry. I explain why, what I thought about EBTG back then, and what I think about their music now, especially "Amplified Heart".
