Igshaan Adams is an artist from Cape Town, South Africa, whose cross-disciplinary practice combines aspects of weaving, sculpture and installation and explores themes that are related to his upbringing, including race, religion and secularity.
As of 2021, he has had nine solo exhibitions across the globe and has participated in numerous group shows. In May 2021, the Hayward Gallery hosted ‘Igshaan Adams: Kicking Dust,’ the artist’s first solo exhibition in the UK, which takes inspiration from indigenous dance.
