Mariëtte Kotzé is a Cape Town based artist interested in process based ink wash painting and alternative photography. She creates her own internal landscapes through digitizing ink wash movements with the macro lens of a scanner. Her work questions photography by capturing images that can never be created again.
We were privileged to visit her and capture her process of scanography in this short film; and to learn more about original digital art.
