Carrying tension in your neck, shoulders, or upper back? This 20-minute practice is designed to help you release the weight you've been holding: physically and emotionally, so you can move through life with more ease.
I'm Lindsay from Visions Incorporated, and if you spend your days hunched over a computer, constantly looking at your phone, or just feeling like you're carrying the weight of the world on your shoulders, you're in the right place. This gentle practice will help you let go of what no longer serves you.
What You'll Need:
~ A yoga mat or comfortable space to move
~ Optional: a blanket or pillow for extra cushioning
~ 20 minutes to care for yourself
~ Permission to soften and release
What We'll Practice:
✨ Intention: "I release what I've been carrying"
We'll move through calming, therapeutic poses that target the areas where most of us hold stress and tension. Each movement is designed to help you soften the armor around your heart and shoulders:
** Thread the Needle to gently release shoulder and upper back tightness
** Modified Side Plank to build supportive strength through your spine
** Puppy Pose to open your chest and shoulders while feeling grounded
** Seated Neck Stretches with mindful breath to melt away neck tension
** Camel Pose to create space across your entire front body
This practice is perfect if you:
Experience chronic neck, shoulder, or upper back pain
Work at a desk or spend hours on devices
Feel like you're constantly holding tension in your upper body
Want to improve your posture from the inside out
Need to release stress that's been living in your body
