A short video of a visit I made following a visit to the East Somerset Railway with a former neighbour of mine and good friend.
Indeed, some of you, of a certain age, may well recognize her.
I had not visited Cranmore for quite a while and my friend had never been there.
There had certainly been a few changes since my last visit with a gallery of David Shepherd's paintings in a coach parked in the sidings near the station building.
Platform 2 now has a small building in which they have, amongst other things, David's model railway layout, based on the station at Cranmore, and a video, admittedly an old one, showing how the railway started way back in the 1970s.
