Deputy Master, Simon Heard sits down with Emma Millo to discuss our School's strategy to proactive pastoral care.
After first studying psychology at Durham University Emma then studied for an MSc in physiotherapy at the University of Essex and worked with professional sports teams including the All Blacks and at London 2012 Olympics.
She then moved into a career teaching psychology. She has worked at Haileybury College for the past 11 years and is currently the Housemistress of Melvill.
Emma is currently studying for an MSc in Mental Health in Children and Young People at Edinburgh University. Through her studies and work she has developed a passion for pupil wellbeing and is interested in how we can enhance this through proactive strategies.
