Dr. Parmi Suchdev highlights key gaps in understanding the role of malnutrition in child mortality and provides an overview of the ARM-CHAMPS study. He summarizes preliminary ARM-CHAMPS findings on the burden of postmortem anemia and vitamin A deficiency and their relationships with cause of death, as well as results on dietary intake, folate status, anemia, and other micronutrient deficiencies among pregnant women. The presentation concludes with next steps and a discussion of priorities for strengthening micronutrient interventions.
