This case has now been postponed 23 times.
Nadia Lotz’s family is frustrated and despondent after repeatedly taking time off work and spending money to travel to court, only to be met with unprepared parties, procedural failures, and yet another postponement granted by the court.
Family spokesperson Sylvia Scheepers, Nadia’s cousin, said, “Charles Appolis has more rights than Nadia had. What about her life?”
At what point do we stop protecting the rights of perpetrators and start prioritising justice for victims and their families?
Action Society will be back at court on Friday, 30 January 2026.
