In this episode I was fishing winter pike in cold water. It was freezing! Ice floating in the water! But a lot of fun! Was fishing in a lake not far from Gothenburg, Sweden. The lake included in the Gula Kortet fishing license. I have not really planned to do pike fishing, just went out with my son to walk in the forest and grabbed fishing rods. Tried to cast a bit ned rigs from the shore to catch winter perch, however, instead I got pike biting. So, the next day I went pike fishing with heavier gear. Watch here how it went!
My gear:
Rod 1: Okuma Psycho Perch UFR Spin 7'7'' 230cm 3-18g - 2sec.
Reel 1: Daiwa 18 Ninja LT 2000.
Rod 2: 10-foot Caperlan Ilicium-500, 20–60 g.
Reel 2: Daiwa 20 Laguna LT 4000-C.
