Eugen Doga’s Famous Waltz is one of the most beautiful romantic waltzes written for the screen. The music became widely known after the film My Sweet and Tender Beast and has since been loved by audiences and pianists around the world for its lyrical melody and expressive character.

This waltz is a wonderful example of singing piano writing. The melody unfolds naturally above a flowing accompaniment, creating a rich romantic atmosphere and a sense of continuous movement. When played with good legato and careful phrasing, the piece reveals its deep lyrical beauty.
