Perth's NEW Suburban Electric Buses

Описание: On Monday the 30th of June 2025, Perth's new suburban electric buses finally began operation after the successful trial of the four Joondalup electric buses and the full rollout of the 18 Perth CAT electric buses.

In this video, we ride on-board TP4030, which is one of 11 of these new electric buses operating out of Malaga depot at the moment, on route 353 from Ballajura Station to Galleria Bus Station via Morley Station.

Malaga Depot will house many more electric buses in the near future, along with a new purpose-built electric bus depot in Bayswater, as well as Karrinyup and Claisebrook depots being upgraded to support electric buses.

And yes, this video is a week late, due to me being in Brisbane for the past week, which coincidentally Brisbane also began the operation of a major electric "bus" route on the same day as these buses in Perth began operations, with the commencement of the M1 Brisbane Metro route, which you can see in this video:    • The NEW Brisbane Metro Route M1 - Roma Str...  . Really cool to compare what two Australian cities are envisioning for the future of their bus network and rolling out at the same time!

P.S. Due to my phone camera glass shattering, there are a lot of weird lights and lines in many parts of this video. I am getting this fixed so it won't be present in the next video. I greatly apologise for this happening.
