The legal battle involving the family members of the late former
deputy president David Mabuza over R44 million in investment funds, is
playing out in the Mpumalanga High Court.
Mabuza’s daughter Tamara Silinda brought an application for a share of
the money for tuition fees to the tune of R120 000, as well as R40 000
monthly for maintenance.
Her argument is that she was dependent on her father when he was
alive, and it would be a miscarriage of justice to have Mabuza’s wife
Patience Mnisi as the only beneficiary.
