TBS Vendetta Long Range FPV Setup Tutorial (2.4GHz Video)

Описание: Sorry it has been awhile since I have uploaded a new video and this is one is sort of old. Due to popular demand - here's how you set up your TBS Vendetta for long range FPV when you don't want to use 5.8GHz.

Materials and tools used in the video:
• TBS Unify 2.4GHz 800mW VTx
• Hakko FX-888D Digital Soldering Iron
• Self-locking Tweezers
• #1 Philips Head Screwdriver
• Matching FPV Antenna For VTx Choice
• Kapton Tape
• Servo Tape or 3M VHB
• Hot Glue
• Rotary Tool (Dremel)
• Isopropyl Alcohol

Required Components:
• TBS Crossfire RC System
• 4s LiPo Battery w/Min. 2200 mAh capacity
It's recommended to use the following LiPo batteries:
• Venom Fly 30C 4S 2200mAh 14.8V
• Tattu 4S (14.8V) 2300mah 45C
*You can go up to 5S battery if you want to as the ESCs and motors can handle it.

1.2/1.3GHz Video Frequency Use:
The only transmitter that works on this aircraft is "1.2GHz MG-500mW 8ch A/V Wireless Transmitter Module" from Hobbyking.

It operates off 5V and works with the Core Pro PNP. Note that the wiring order is different and MUST be swapped. Failure to swap wires will result damage to the VTx and or the Core Pro.

Another required component is a notch filter that needs to be installed on the video receiver (VRx) since Crossfire interferes with 1.2/1.3 GHz video.

Further optimizations:
• Use lower kV and more efficient motors
• Use 7inch props and arms

Important Note for Vendetta II owners:
Team Blacksheep discontinued the Vendetta I and released the Vendetta II. The Vendetta II uses the Powercube FPVision, which includes OSD and a built in 5.8GHz VTx.

If you want to make it long range, you will need to wire the FPV camera and VTx to a spare BEC or install a Core Pro PNP. You will want to put the built in 5.8GHz VTx in pitmode.

Vendetta II known issues:
• It is not currently possible to disable the onboard VTx. Use pitmode to reduce the output even more
• OSD on the Powercube will not work if you wire an external VTx and FPV camera to it. Use the OSD feature from Runcam or Foxeer to get voltage and flight time information
•TBS GPS/Compass module may not work
