Step is an author and journalist with more than 15 years of experience in Indonesia and Southeast Asia. Her work at Dutch Television NOS and Al Jazeera English has taken her across the archipelago and into areas that few get a glimpse of, including most Indonesians. In this talk she describes how Twitter and Facebook have had a dramatic impact both on her work as a journalist and as a single mom.
In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience.
